Floral hoops

Timeworn tin cut into dramatic discs and roughly hammered into domed forms. (Tin isn’t usually domed like this because it’s maybe the least malleable metal but I love the rough results.)

Over these I’ve applied variegated metal leaf to the bottom half and then delicate vintage floral decals that are quite unlike anything else I’ve seen.

The ear wires are parallel with the earrings, so they hang like hoops and the other side is sometimes visible. Because of this I’ve covered the backs in the same gorgeous florals. Note, however, that every piece and side shows different flowers from the same overall image.
