MOP, florals and gem earrings

These long tabs made from mother of pearl are actually vintage game pieces. I’ve paired them with vintage lampwork glass cabochons depicting floral motifs. The mounting uses two part epoxy which is anchored by two tiny holes in the game piece so that a bit of epoxy pushes through to secure the cab in place. Over the epoxy I apply variegated metal leaf.
A ring of mixed gemstones adds to the circle motif and feminine color scheme.

All my work is completely one of a kind- there will never be two identical pieces.
