Kuchi Opal necklace (4)
$99.00
The focal of this fun and eclectic piece is a coin pendant made by the Kuchi people of Afghanistan. I’ve removed the original glass cabochon and in its place created a resin opal. It has a large rhinestone and cloudy layers over hints of iridescent shards.
It hangs on a thick cord of woven and waxed cotton which is embellished with all kinds of mismatched elements. Charms of citrine, glass, enamel, tiny gemstone dangles, and more.
Bands of vintage tin, brass rings, hammered aluminum and more.
Beads on either cord end lead to a handmade hook and an extender chain that ends in a cluster of beads and hammered metal drops.
Adjustable from 18.5 to 22”.
