Melany necklace
Melany loves a pleasant stroll at a gentle pace on a winding path. She loves chewing on a well worn memory under a passing cloud.
Melany is glancing to the left. She was sculpted from clay in a box bezel made of salvaged tin.
She hangs from a bit of tin held together with a little pink head pin. It’s threaded on a woven and waxed cotton cord.
All along the cord there are bands of vintage tin between separator rings of brass. There’s one tiny Victorian boot button.
At the cord ends are links of mismatched beads. Most are vintage glass and one is wood inlaid with shell.
One side ends with a handmade hook and the other leads to an extender chain. It ends in a trio of dangles that form a secret pendant on the back.
There’s a rough clear quartz nugget, a long vintage glass drop on a resin headpin with layered caps, and a vintage blue bead.
Adjustable from 17-20”.
