Topaz colored lariat
The focal of this long lariat necklace is an antique Kuchi coin charm into which I’ve built a resin cabochon full of topaz tones and flashing iridescence.
In it there are rhinestones and iridescent shards of color, milky swirls and even a tiny cameo.
This is framed in vintage tin and a ring of metal bullion.
Below is a pear encased in resin with teeny bits of dried flower, and a citrine briolette.
It hangs from a thick ring of hammered brass leading tog different styles of chain and pearly beads in brass caps. They’re actually vintage faux pearls which I’ve embellished with resin and mica powder as well as tiny flower bits.
The other end of the lariat has a natural geode I found in my home country of Uruguay. This end threads through the brass ring and can be worn at different lengths.
The chain alone is 22”. Measured from the base of each pendant, the entire piece is just under 27”.
